HEFEI, May 22 (Xinhua) -- In early May this year, workers discovered a nest of oriental white stork, a migratory bird under first-class state protection, on the newly-built transmission tower in Huoqiu County, east China's Anhui Province.
The State Grid Anhui Electric Power Co., Ltd. has installed high-definition cameras near the nest, assigned designated staff to track and protect the oriental white storks, and postponed the construction progress according to the breeding timeline of the storks.
