(250521) -- HEFEI, May 21, 2025 (Xinhua) -- An aerial drone photo taken on May 21, 2025 shows oriental white storks taking care of the nestlings on top of a transmission tower in Huoqiu County, east China's Anhui Province. In early May this year, workers discovered a nest of oriental white stork, a migratory bird under first-class state protection, on the newly-built transmission tower. The State Grid Anhui Electric Power Co., Ltd. has installed high-definition cameras near the nest, assigned designated staff to track and protect the oriental white storks, and postponed the construction progress according to the breeding timeline of the storks.
