Wei Chun used to work at an international hotel in a first-tier city. In June 2024, she became an agricultural manager of a collective economy company in Dadugang Township, a role locals refer to as the "Village CEO."
Under her leadership, idle factory buildings and vacant land were transformed into cafes, educational spaces, and campsites, providing recreational spaces for visitors. Wei also offered free training in coffee making, tea art, and rural hospitality management, improving service quality and expanding employment opportunities for villagers.
By 2025, Wei has helped more than 100 villagers acquire new skills and attracted nine talents returning home to start businesses here. (Xinhua/Du Xiaoyi)
