ABU DHABI, 29th April, 2025 (WAM) -- Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, met today with Zhai Jun, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in line with the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two friendly countries, and reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
Dr. Gargash reiterated the UAE's firm position in support of peace and stability in the region, emphasising that the major challenges facing the Middle East call for strengthened dialogue and communication, prioritising diplomatic solutions, and intensifying regional and international efforts to advance a comprehensive peace process.
The meeting was attended by Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the UAE.
