(250415) -- JIAMUSI, April 15, 2025 (Xinhua) -- An aerial drone photo taken on April 14, 2025 shows the construction site of Fujin Railway Station for the expansion project of the Jiamusi-Tongjiang Railway, in Jiamusi, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
Recently, the renovation of Fujin Railway Station, the first station upgraded in the capacity expansion project of the Jiamusi-Tongjiang Railway, has officially kicked off.
The capacity expansion project, spanning a total length of 258.25 kilometers, with 21 railway stations along the route, is expected to enhance the railway's train handling capacity by three times.
Upon completion, the Jiamusi-Tongjiang Railway will further meet the needs of the China-Europe freight train services in Tongjiang Railway Port and provide a more convenient and efficient transport corridor for the region. (Photo by Wu Yunan/Xinhua)
