For 26 years, Huo Juan has devoted herself to tending children with intellectual disabilities, helping them grow up and become self-reliant adults.

Huo founded the first care center for intellectually disabled children in the city of Changzhi in 2000, and has since helped over 200 of these children through rehabilitation training.
