(260211) -- NANNING, Feb. 11, 2026 (Xinhua) -- Huang Qingming gives a Chinese character "Fu" (meaning good fortune) to foreign passengers on the train No. T8701 in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Feb. 10, 2026. The China-Vietnam international passenger rail service, which resumed operations on May 25, 2025, is now facing its first Spring Festival travel rush. Huang Qingming, a 58-year-old railway police officer, has been working on this route since 2012, responsible for the Nanning-Pingxiang section of trains No. T8701 and No. T8702 in Guangxi.

As a railway police officer, handling various emergencies, conducting train's security check and ensuring passenger safety during the journey are part of Huang's daily routine.

Approaching retirement, Huang cherishes his role deeply, "Serving as a railway police officer on the China-Vietnam international passenger rail service, safeguarding the trains' security and passengers' safety, has been an honorable and unforgettable experience in my career." (Xinhua/Lu Boan)
