The China-Vietnam international passenger rail service, which resumed operations on May 25, 2025, is now facing its first Spring Festival travel rush. Huang Qingming, a 58-year-old railway police officer, has been working on this route since 2012, responsible for the Nanning-Pingxiang section of trains No. T8701 and No. T8702 in Guangxi.
As a railway police officer, handling various emergencies, conducting train's security check and ensuring passenger safety during the journey are part of Huang's daily routine.
