GUANGYUAN, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Guangyuan, in northern Sichuan Province, run through by the Jialing River and its tributaries, nurtures unique cuisines with its pure water. Across its streets and alleys, bowls of freshly steamed and sliced cold noodles attract people from day and night. Thanks to the ingredients, the cold noodles boast robust flavor of rice.
In Jian'ge County under Guangyuan City, Jianmen tofu, a local renowned dish, also made from this pure water with local soybeans, has gained its popularity among local residents as well as tourists. Chefs here also have created various cooking recipes for tofu to express their love for this simple raw material.
