ZHENYUAN, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- Zhang Xiaohua's family was registered as an impoverished household in 2013.

In 2019, Zhang began raising rabbits and goats with support from the local government, which offered her bonuses and dividends. Meanwhile, her husband Xue Jinzhang got a job not far away from home.

Zhang couple and a few others in the village shook off poverty in September 2020.
